Audemars Piguet upgraded their classic Royal Oak 15400 series when they created the 15500 series which has wider indexes, a better-positioned date window and a minute train printed on the external train. The 15500ST.OO.1220ST.01 has a stainless-steel case that is 41mm in diameter and 10.4mm thick with a glare-proof sapphire crystal and case back with a screw-locked crown. It comes with a blue dial with a Grande Tapisserie pattern with a date window and has luminescent, white gold applied hour markers and hands. The 15500ST.OO.1220ST.01 is powered by the self-winding 4302 Caliber that has date functionality and a power reserve of 70 hours. The Royal Oak case is paired with a stainless-steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 50 meters (164 feet).
