Panerai showcases the wonders of watchmaking with the PAM00196 an upgraded, larger version of their previous chronograph that is sure to please watch enthusiasts. The stainless-steel case is cushion-shaped which is 44mm in diameter and 16mm thick. The case features a sapphire crystal and a solid case back with a fixed, tachymeter engraved, stainless-steel bezel. The dial is a deep black with three sub-dials and luminous Arabic numerals and hands. The PAM00196is powered by the self-winding OP XII Caliber which has chronograph and date functionality plus a power reserve of up to 46 hours. The case is paired with a black leather bracelet that has a stainless-steel fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 100 meters (330 Feet).
